Estonian Air starts code sharing with Brussels Airlines on Tallinn-Brussels route

Starting from 31 October 2010, Estonian Air will start code share cooperation with Brussels Airlines on direct route between Tallinn and Brussels.

The code share agreement enables both airlines to sell tickets with their own flight code and to offer new exciting connection flights to their customers.

“The code share agreement between Estonian Air and Brussels Airlines is the additional important step in carrying out our strategic goals. In addition to our direct flights the cooperation brings us more possibilities to offer very good connection flights from Brussels Airport and widens Estonian Air’s sales network with a number of exciting destinations, including Africa for example. In addition, the cooperation creates good possibilities to add more frequencies on Tallinn-Brussels route with our new aircraft already in the first part of next year,” said Andrus Aljas, Estonian Air CEO and President.

“The introduction of this new code share agreement allows us to provide our passengers with even more flexibility and a wider network, providing access to almost all our European evening flights. In addition, it further completes our travel solutions to the Baltic countries, one of the booming economic regions in Europe”, says Bernard Gustin, co-CEO of Brussels Airlines.

Estonian Air will serve the route with three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
